6th World Conference on Mountain Ungulates

The aim of this conference, organized by the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park (Italy, under the aegis of the IUCN/SSC Caprinae Specialist Group, is to bring together experts on the biology of mountain ungulates, from all over the world, to present and discuss their latest work.
A wealth of studies have been recently carried out and their results could stimulate interesting discussions.
Furthermore, the correct management for conservation and/or hunting of mountain ungulates calls for sound information on their biology.
Participants will be especially encouraged to present their results on relationships between management and biological issues of ungulates showing adaptations to life on mountains, as well as on their relationships with predators and ecological competitors.
