EXC 5. Molise Tour – nature, history, local traditions (TE)

Discovering the nature and the villages of the Park's Molise area.

We will pass through hidden and less well-known places and villages with their Medieval settings. The short walk touches the "Gustav-line" of the second World War and offers a view over the Lake of Castel San Vincenzo, the Monastery (hermitage) of S. Michele and over the Morrone Mountain range.
The visit to the "Zampogna" (bagpipe) Museum and to the abbey of Castel S.Vincenzo will crown the tour with history and the most ancient local traditions.

• Location: Le Forme, Pizzone, Lago Castel San Vincenzo, S.Michele a Foce, Castelnuovo al Volturno, Scapoli, Abbey of S. Vincenzo. 
• Departure: 8:00 by bus.
• Return: 17:30
