With an expert guide, we will climb to an altitude of 1900 meters on Monte Mattone, facing a beautiful climb in the beech forest and reaching the summit meadows from which a splendid view opens onto Lake Barrea, the peaks of Chiarano, the Montagne della Meta and the Camosciara and Monte Marsicano. We will learn to intelligently face uphill and downhill climbs, measuring our strength and calibrating our pace. We will discover the value of the essentiality of the equipment that everyone has to carry on their shoulders. We will get to know the area by looking for traces of the Park's wildlife and identifying plants and mountains. We will be conquered by the summit and the joy of having reached it together.
